Northeast Kingdom Television (NEK-TV) is the Public, Educational, and Governmental community television station for Orleans and upper Essex County. NEK-TV has been you local access center since 1993. Based in Newport, Vermont, NEK-TV serves the communities of Orleans and upper Essex Counties by provides tools, training and experience for all citizens and institutions to create and broadcast a diverse range of television programs. We operate three locations for your convenience...Our primary facility and offices are located at 561 East Main Street in Newport. We also maintain two remote Educational / Community Studios: One in the North Country Career Center in Newport, and the other in the Lake region Union High School in Orleans. NEK-TV airs a variety of local, locally-sponsored, and of interest programming including diverse presentations such as School Board Meetings, Creature Feature movies, stand up comedy, local churches, classic cartoons, local sporting events, politics, cooking shows, French, German, and Scots Gaelic language programming, and many more. Community producers are creating new and exciting show all the time. Perhaps you may have an idea for a television show. Come talk to us about it... You may be the next face on NEK-TV.
